To the End

by Wenceslas Farrier

So one more time, the banners they are flying,
And one more time, we mourn the loss of friends,
One more time, our legions they are marching,
As we’re called to war until the end.

To the end, for heroes who have fallen,
To the end, for children not yet born,
To the end, ’til darkness o’erwhelms us,
To the end, ’til the battle it is won.

For the Akari strike from out the shadows,
And Entropy it taints our very Land,
Avalon is turned from dream to nightmare,
As once more the Lions make a stand.

To the end, for heroes who have fallen,
To the end, for children not yet born,
To the end, ’til darkness o’erwhelms us,
To the end, ’til the battle it is won.

The Akari will know the Lions’ fury,
Against them our great blood oaths we have sworn,
And until the peace of death has claimed them,
Until then our battle will go on.

To the end, for heroes who have fallen,
To the end, for children not yet born,
To the end, ’til darkness o’erwhelms us,
To the end, ’til the battle it is won.

So through Edreja and through Lantia’s isles,
Whether in freezing cold or baking heat,
Our fight will go on ’til victory comes,
’til the Akari we do defeat.

To the end, for heroes who have fallen,
To the end, for children not yet born,
To the end, ’til darkness o’erwhelms us,
To the end, ’til the battle it is won.

For in the end, the sun breaks through the shadow,
And in the end, the birds begin to sing,
In the end, our suffering will be over,
In the end, we’ll live in peace again.

So ’til then, for heroes who have fallen,
So ’til then, for children not yet born,
To the end, ’til darkness o’erwhelms us,
To the end, ’til the battle it is won.
